Three steps

  1. You send us your CVEducation, work experience, languages, age and, if you have one, the job offer. A short text is enough. It does not need to be a finished document.

  3. We take overApplication, authorities, employer, family. And if you wish: flat, residence, school, company. You get updates, not forms.

Frequently asked questions

What does the first conversation cost?

Nothing. The initial conversation and assessment are free. You send your CV, we usually get back to you within 48 hours (working days) with a clear answer.

I do not have a job offer yet.

Then we check whether you can go through the job-seeker visa as a highly qualified individual. If not, we tell you what stands between you and a job offer, and help you choose an employer once offers arrive.

What happens if the application is rejected?

Then we examine appeals and alternatives. The second half of the fee does not fall due as long as no card has been granted.

What do I need to get started?

In most cases, a job commitment from an Austrian employer. Plus your passport, proof of education and work experience, and language certificates if you have them. Only highly qualified individuals with 70 points can come without a job via the job-seeker visa. We clarify everything else with you.

Is my family included in the price?

No. Family reunification is a separate service with its own fixed fee. We tell you the amount in advance, depending on who is coming with you.

Do you also help after the card?

Yes. Flat, residence, school, company, change of employer, renewal (€ 3,000 fixed), permanent residence and citizenship. We stay your contact for as long as you need us.

I am already in Austria on a different permit.

A change from within the country is often possible, for example from student to graduate status. Deadlines decide. Send us your permit and CV, and we will check.

Do I have a chance if I do not speak German?

Yes. German is not a requirement for the Red-White-Red Card, it only earns extra points. Many of our clients arrive without German and work in English. Later, for permanent residence and citizenship, German is required. You have years until then, and we tell you in good time which level you need.

Do I have to find the job beforehand?

For most categories, yes: the card is issued for a specific employer. But you can apply from abroad, and we check every offer in advance against the salary threshold and points. Without a job, only highly qualified individuals with 70 points can come via the job-seeker visa.

Do I have to find a flat beforehand?

For the application you need proof of accommodation in Austria, for example a tenancy agreement or a place to stay through an employer, family or friends. But you do not have to buy or rent a flat long-term from abroad. We help with a solution for the start, and later with the flat you really want.

Where do I find a flat?

In Vienna through portals, agents and networks. We know the market, tell you which districts suit your commute, school and budget, arrange viewings and check the tenancy agreement before you sign. On request, at a fixed fee.

Can I change employer in the first year? And afterwards?

The Red-White-Red Card is valid for two years and is tied to the employer it was issued for. A change during that time is possible, but requires a new card for the new employer. We check beforehand whether the new job meets the requirements, and we file the application. After 21 months of employment within 24 months you receive the RWR Card plus: free access to the labour market, change whenever you like.

Can students work alongside their studies?

Yes, up to 20 hours per week. The employer needs an employment permit from the AMS for this, which is granted for up to 20 hours without a labour market test. Your studies must remain the main purpose. After graduating you have 12 months to look for a job, and then the graduate card.

When can I bring my wife and children?

Immediately, together with your own application. Spouses and minor children receive the RWR Card plus and may work freely. German skills before arrival are not required for families of Red-White-Red Card holders. Family reunification is a separate service with its own fixed fee.

Can I bring my parents?

This is significantly harder. Parents are not part of the core family. There is a quota-based permit for relatives, without the right to work and with proof that you provide for their maintenance. Places are scarce. We tell you honestly whether it is realistic in your case, and which alternatives exist, such as longer visits.

Will I get a pension one day?

Yes. With the card you are fully covered by Austrian social insurance, and your contributions count towards your pension. An Austrian pension requires at least 15 years of insurance. Periods from many other countries are credited under agreements, always within the EU. Contributions are not lost, even if you move away later.

Do my children have to go to school here?

Yes. In Austria, compulsory schooling starts at the sixth birthday and lasts nine years, with a compulsory nursery year before it. Public schools are free, and there are private and international schools too. We help with choosing and enrolling, to suit your location and language.

In which languages?

German, English, Bulgarian, Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian.

Do you also handle asylum cases?

No. The firm works exclusively in residence and settlement law (Red-White-Red Card, family reunification, renewals, permanent residence). Asylum proceedings and subsidiary protection are outside our scope of practice.
